Hello All,

As you have noticed I’ve had a lot of guest submission lately. Keep it up I love them! I am also having some issues with my photoshop/computer so these are saving me from having an empty blog! Annah went on an outfit spree a couple weeks ago and this is one of them, I am always happy to take multiple submissions so if you get extra ambitious and put together 2 or 3 at a time,please send them over!

Now for Annah’s lovely outfit:

I am in a cool mood! I am always very girly, even when I don’t play dressed up! Or at least I try to be! This came out to be very simple, pre-autumn look! I am not all well dressed up, but I still feel girly and sexy. What I usually want in an outfit/item is the flexibility! I need stuff that can be worn in several occasions and with several styles. This shorts and top I am wearing today are the perfect example of that, because they can be wear in several occasions, in the most diverse styles.

For the skin, this time, I have changed the colour. Yes, it is still my beloved Pink Portia, but this time in Cinnanom, because I wanted a tanned, after summer, look and this one is perfect. I never get tired of saying that Annyka skins are the best ones

This look was inspired by my modeling aspirations.  It’s a little bit couture, a little bit professional and a little bit soccer mom.  It’s versatile for many different occasions and is as ready to walk down the runway and it is to walk down the street.

I started with the skirt from CKSD that I found and loved the colors for the upcoming fall season. I paired it with a tank from Nyte’N'Day  and a sweater jacket from REALE.  To go with a punch of color I added the peep toe pumps from DeLa in Deep Forrest Green.

All the jewelry is from Persona, and though not a “set” works well with this outfit with the combination of wood and bronze.  The purse is a JCNY design, and as with all of her designs, it has lots of options so you can wear it with any outfit you need.  The purse has two attachment points one for hand and one for shoulder. The glasses are actual sunglasses that are changeable that I loved the style and size of and I have changed them to glasses, with brown frames for this particular outfit.  They are versatile for all outfits because of the may options that they have.

My hair, skin, nails, and shape are my everyday wear.  The hair is from Fetish Boutique and though only available in black, well worth it for the flexi and curls.  The shape is from Pretense, their designs are based on model shapes, and can be altered, so mine is tweaked a bit.  The skin is Karoline, from Brasil Shop, and have many different options and incredible detail.  The nails are from Awesome Designs and are available in many different colors and styles for today I chose nude.  My eyes are from Reflex, and are green, kinda sparkly, something you want to look at :D.

Well the event went very well! It was nice to sit on the sidelines for once and just judge. They put up a beautiful stage and seating area. It was so much more organized than my events usually are hehe.

They raised just over 5200L for the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and that was just with donations from the crowd. The MC for the event was the lovely Marlaiya Portello and she is also the Vice President and Treasurer for the Alpha Omega Mu Sorority. As you can see she has on a beautiful gown ( I forgot to ask from where) it was very daring and the pattern was gorgeous.

There were 3 judges, it was interesting because we all had very different view points on what we were looking for so I think we came up with well balanced scores. Pictured with me below are Tempest Hennessy COO of Instyle Fashion Agency and Rockwell Maxiumus of Ground Level Radio and host of the Maximus Files. They were both great and it was fun to judge with them.

The event started with the women of the Alpha Omega Mu Sorority doing a step routine. It was pretty neat and they all looked adorable in their matching outfits. (Sorry to the girl that wouldn’t rez her face for me I’m sure she was lovely.)

After that it was time for the female finalists. There were 5 (Pictured Below Left to Right): Shanina Chenaux, Glimmer Forcella, Maegen Parvenu, Alla Ruff and Brandy Rasmuson.

It was very hard to choose everyone looked wonderful and the judges and I had to do a little deliberating. The second Runner up was Maegen Parvenu, the 1^st runner up was Brandy Rasmuson and the Grand Prize winner was Glimmer Forcella. I will have her post up a little later, but she she looked very put together and polished.

Next it was onto the Men, which was a nice change for me because we didn’t really have that many men come to the Closet Crisis events and only one male winner (Yay Van!). There were 4 male finalists.

It was nice to see the men so put together and this was an even harder category to judge. Eventually after a little discussion we had the winners. The 2^nd runner up was Collojoro Catteneo, 1^st runner up was Zeus Zabibha and the Grand Prize winner was Shaun Arliss. The judges really liked Shaun’s simplicity in his outfit and his use of attachments.

At the end of the show they surprised me at least by providing entertainment! Jazmin Pennell came on stage and sang a Beyonce song a cappella. It was really lovely and a nice treat.

Two other people that were very responsible for how smooth and put together the event was were Shinesse Madison (Dean of Pledges for the Alpha Omega Mu Sorority) and Sunnibunni  Lewis. Shinesse did a lot of the behind the scenes work and also I believed set up the step dance. Sunnibunni did the DJ-ing for the event and she announced the contestants. She had a very clear professional voice and played some great music.

I had a lot of fun being at this event and it was strange being on the observing end, but also very nice. I had a blast and it was wonderful that some money was raised for charity. Thank you to everyone that came and especially to the contestants. You all looked fabulous and I love to see all the different styles.

I was inspired to submit an outfit to Closet Crisis, after coming upon a grey plaid skirt by Wrong! that I’d not worn in a while, and a great hair with a slouchy hat that I got from Maitreya at the hair fair! Still traumatized by the need to be bald and naked to get it (I did though, I”m motivated!!!), and thinking modified school girl, I put this outfit together.

I started with the skirt, and because I always think that skirts are too short in SL (WHAT?) I decided to pair it with a great pair of black leggings from Dernier Cri (buy the fatpack, trust me!).  Since to me, grey plaid screams with for the need for red, I decided to make that my accent color.  A great staple piece, my red trixie tank from Celestial Studios, a freebie pair of killer pumps from Aphrodite Creations (I LOVE her group) and a red trimmed grey cardigan from Vette’s Boutique rounded out the look.

I decided I needed those scrunched up socks I’m seeing everywhere with my heels to mimic the scrunched up hat, and low and behold, I had a freebie pair from Shiny Things!  Score!  Since I love different and unique things, I pulled out two necklaces from two of my favorite jewelers, Violet Voltaire and Bonita Popinjay, decided to skip earrings as it would have been too much, and topped it off with my new Maitreya hair!  The poses are LAP, the skin is my new love, Curio.  Did I mention that I want more freckles?

Last week was a very busy week! With all the hunt preparation at *AnnaH*, and finishing the new release Colby and the new store at George 5, I couldn’t waist much time choosing clothes, but I needed to be well dressed in case of someone appear in the store where I was setting up things. So, I ended up wearing a really sweet and well made set of underwear - yes, you can’t see it! It is underwear!!! But I need to say it, because everytime I changed clothes in the middle of the store I was wearing THIS lingerie! It is from Ornamental Life Store, and it is called Annyka on Tuesdays. The colour I am wearing is the green, that matches my jacket! This way I was never completly naked

I am sure you all know where it came from! The Trenchcoat is from Armidi, and it was my very first bought in Armidi! The colour is amazing, and the details on sculpted things are marvelous! I am wearing only the short coat, but there’s a flexi long coat, very cool! And to complete the outfit, what else is more confortable and easy to wear than a black pair of leggings? This one are from the Dove outfit from Ornamental Life Store - yes I *own* all Ornamental life stuff! It is very well made and they are very casual, but yet stylish!

I wasn’t ready to face all the stuff whithout a cute clutch to keep all my documents and post its for the hunt. The black leather clutch is from House of Hearts and it is very simple, but goes perfectly with this outfit. It comes in 3 versions - 2 poses and 1 unposed. I also needed a cell phone! Yeah, everyone needs one! This one is a copy of the posed version available at the store. I didn’t use the animation with the phone, but I did used my pose.

Necklace and earrings are from Earthtones. They match the coat, they are casual and they look beautiful. They are called Paua Round Shell. I didn’t need to adjust anything! It was perfect! I am all about acessoires, so I also added a cool (and free) pair of sunglasses! They are from Mokoptica and they suit really great in my face! What I also try to use almost everyday are tattoo’s. I love feminine and well made tattoo’s! This time I am wearing ones from Tuli, that are called Henna and that were free a long time ago (I think). It is a set for all body, but I am using only the undershirt layer, so you can see a bit in my chest! Just another Rock Star detail
